Bitumen, also known as asphalt in the US, is a material that forms through the distillation of crude oil. It has waterproofing and gluey properties. Bitumen production through distillation removes lighter crude oil components, such as petrol and diesel, leaving the “heavier” bitumen behind.

Our range of Penetration Bitumen Grades 50/70 | 60/70 | 70/100 | 80/100 can be delivered in new steel drums bitumen bags or bulk. We can source and deliver bitumen at the quantity required and with a delivery schedule designed to meet client’s requirements.
THE USE OF BITUMEN:
The primary use of asphalt/bitumen is in road construction, where it is used as the adhesive or binder mixed with aggregate elements to create asphalt concrete. Its other main uses are for bituminous waterproofing products, including production of roofing felt and for sealing flat roofs.
